The story of  Fin n feather Resort was built on Bull Shoals  lake for family vacations fun..  Over time fishermen from all over the country discovered the property and the ability to have direct access to the lake and docks  . The views are what you'd expect from the Arkansas Ozark Mountains! Cabins facing the lake with lake views. Between the cabins and the lake is a tree-shaded lawn frequented by deer,  turkeys, and other wild  life.
 Our Grounds & The Oakland Area, If you are wanting to escape to a quiet, peaceful forest and lake setting.  you're heading in the right direction by coming to the Oakland area of Bull Shoals Lake.  Located south of the Missouri state line, the tiny community of Oakland offers a cafe, a marina, and enough amenities to keep you comfortable.  set in the depths of an Ozark forest on Bull shoals lake.  Fin 'N' Feather resort  has private docks and boat launch  in a secluded location .  We sit on the shore line of a  secluded cove  off the main lake channel. It's great for water skiing, fishing, duck hunting, deer hunting or  relaxing in the quiet sun. We've got plenty of tall hardwood trees providing cool shade, yet the grounds are open enough to see wildlife and the lake from almost anywhere on the fin n feather resorts three-acre grounds.

Fin N feather resort offers 1 boat slip per cabin rental free.  If more slips are needed there will be a $10 charge per night with pre approval from management.

Pets (by permission only!) $10 Per Pet per day. Aggressive pets not allowed on property. All animals must be kept on a leash at all time. Animals must not be left in cabins unatended. Day use - $7.00 per person per day. *Please Note! To avoid any misunderstanding you will be charged for the number of days you reserve. $75.00 Deposit required for each cabin reservation. Full refund with 3 weeks notice only. Check in is 3p.m., check out is 11a.m.


Boat Dock & Boat RentalsOur private, covered, illuminated boat dock features electrical outlets at each slip. The dock's fish cleaning table has running water, cutting board. Because the dock is a great place to look out over the lake, we also have a porch swings on the dock. We have a separate swim dock for those who love sun bathing after a swim in the lake. With each night's cabin rental you get a free boat slip at no extra charge.
Thinges to do around fin n feather resort.
When you get the urge to explore the area, you'll find several attractions within an hour's drive, and many more within a day-trip's range. We're 35 minutes from Mountain Home, Arkansas where you'll find several restaurants, movie theaters, and retail shopping boutiques. The Arkansas White River, world-famous for its trout fishing, is about 40 minutes away. The Ozark National Forest is about an hour away.
The Ozark Folk Center, with its 20-plus live music, crafts, and Ozark Folk activities booths, is only 1.5 hours away. Visit Mountain Village 1890 and Bull Shoals Caverns where you'll see underground streams with trout in them and buildings from the late 1800's. Get a bird's eye view of the Ozarks by riding to the top of the observation tower called the "Top 'O the Ozarks" - all in the City of Bull Shoals, Arkansas.
If you wish, you can travel a few hours and explore Blanchard Springs Caverns, travel to the world-famous musical entertainment of Branson, Missouri, visit the Bass Pro Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, or visit Silver Dollar City, Missouri.

    One of the only resorts on the water that allows you to rent a pontoon boat 😁 they also have games like corn hole too! I personally don't fish but I've seen some very impressive size fish be pulled out of this water!! Definitely one of the coolest places to vacation at
